The HVS Assignment
Lane Hospitality first engaged HVS in 2002. The media
appointments we arranged in conjunction with the hotel industry investment
conferences resulted in a new awareness for Lane. Relationships were developed
with such national publications as the Wall Street Journal and
USA Today as well as with such trades as Hotel Business, Lodging
and Real Estate Journal. In addition, HVS organized and handled
all on-site activities for a weekend press trip to one of Lane's properties.
Results
This renewed awareness for Lane prompted the firm to
use HVS Sales & Marketing Services to design new display advertising for
the trade publications, and to redesign its corporate website and develop
a digital brochure. In 2004, Lane unveiled its more attractive and user-friendly
website at www.lanehospitality.com.
This also saved Lane the expense of printing marketing collateral.
